A brief history

Troop 10 and Troop 1010 are sponsored by Broad Street, United Methodist Church.
Troop 10 was first chartered in 1924 and has been active in the area since that
time. Troop 10 is the oldest Boy Scout troop in the Cherokee Area Council which
is located in southeast Tennessee and northwest Georgia.

In 2019, Troop 10 became a linked troop with a female unit
sponsored by the same charter, which is Troop 1010.
